DOStamper STARs Thursday Challenge #183 - Sketch Pad Challenge

Once again, I used the Affectionately Yours DSP for this weeks card challenge .  I really like this paper set and the Night of Navy on Crumb Cake is one of my favorite color combinations.  I chose to stay true to the sketch and the layering Love is perfect with the oval cut out.

DOstamper Stars Thursday Challenge #182 - Sketch Challenge,Affectionately Yours

Welcome to this week's DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we are having a "Home Sweet Home" challenge based on the picture below for inspiration. Don't forget to scroll down and visit the other Stars have created this week.



 



 

I found this week's challenge a bit overwhelming.  The images did not inspire me much so I chose to look at the shapes and colors for inspiration.  The majority of the card supplies were sent to me and other STARS by Dawn Olchefske, our fearless leader. Dawn challenged us (STARS) to come up with a card using these supplies while she is cruising in the Mediterranean this week.  I just added a bit of Affectionately Yours DSP, sentiment from the new Thoughtful Banners stamp set and Duet Banner Punch all for available for purchase 1 June.    And poof my card was finished.

DOstamper Stars Thursday Challenge #181 - Sketch Challenge, AffectionatelyYours

Welcome to this week's DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge. This week we are having a "Color Challenge" challenge. Don't forget to scroll down and visit the other Stars creations.

I really like the sketch this week it, is so clean and so simple.  I choose to use some Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape from the new catalog (available to order on 1 June) on Whisper White cardstock to get my card started then layered it on a Night of Navy card base.  Created a few colorful flowers with the Blossom Bunch punch using scraps of Night of Navy, Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron.  These color pair nicely with the new Affectionately Yours DSP and Washi Tape.  Finally, I added a few sequins left over from the February 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Whiter Perfect Accents and a sentiment from the Water Color Wishes Card Kit.
