FSM 229 and Sale-A-Bration Count Down

I can't believe we're coming to end of 2016 Sale-A-Bration.  Thursday, 31 March, is your last chance to get a free Sale-A-Bration item for every $50 you spend.   One of my favorite stamp sets from Sale-A-Bration has to be "What I Love".  I made this card for the Freshly Made Sketches weekly challenge using the "What I Love Stamp set and the Metallic Glitter tape (both in Sale-A-Bration catalog).  I colored the  clear glitter tape with melon Mambo ink using a sponge and backed up the stamped images with scraps of Melon Mambo card stock.  Overall sweet card !

DOstamperStars Thursday Challenge #174 - Everything Eleanor with Blossom Bunch



Welcome to this week's DoStamper Stars Thursday Challenge. This week we are having a  "Color My World Pad" challenge.  Don't forget to scroll down and visit the other Stars creations.

 

 

 

 

This card design was inspired by Nicolle Belesimo, the layout is perfect for this color combination.  I used my favorite flourish from Everything Eleanor stamp set, added a sentiment is from Perfect Pairings, and attached six small blossoms--all done.  So easy, I love the simplicity of this card. I am sure I will be making many more of this one.

2014-2016 In Color - It's an English Garden

Earlier this week I posted about the upcoming retirement of the 2014-2016 In Color group.  There are some wonderful colors in this bunch and it is hard to believe they will soon be gone.   Here are some cards I made using each color, Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist.  I added some  English Garden DSP and flowers from the Blossom Bunch punch to complete the set.

Tip: The Regals Candy Dots I used are too large for the smallest blossom.  To give the small blossom some color in the center I used my blender pen and Always Artichoke ink pad to darken the center of the flower.  Then I added a drop of Crystal Effects, let it dry overnight and now it matches the others flowers.
