Happy 2020!!!



Wow, it is 2020!!!  A new decade.  This is a milestone year for me.  It was 40 years ago that I graduated high school, and left home for the Air Force.  This year my oldest will graduate high school and leave home for the US Navy.  I am so proud of her. 

So what is happening in your 2020?  There is lots going on in Stampin' Up! (r) this new year.  On Friday, 3 January the new 2020 Mini Catalog (formerly Occasions) launches as well as Sale-A-Bration.



The 2020 Mini Catalog products are available from 3 January to June and I promise you that is it fabulous.  Sale-A-Bration is form 3 January through March, it is full of delightful products that you can earn for free with a qualifying purchase from the Annual or 2020 Mini Catalogs.

#DOswts329 - Bright Timeless Tulip Get Well


Welcome crafty friends to our Sketch Inspiration Hop.  The sketch we are using today is one of my go to sketches for card making.  I have used it often and it is a great way to use up those long scraps of DSP.  This card is all about being bright and cheery.  I used as many of colors from the Brights palate as I possible.

Introducing Painted Poppies Bundle!!

When the new Mini Catalog goes live on 3 January, you must check out the Painted Poppies Bundle, it is part of a larger suite called Peaceful Poppies.  This suite is fabulous, so beautiful and colorful.  I am sure it is going to be very popular.  Here is my first card (many more to come) using the Painted Poppies Bundle.

#DOswts328 - Let It Snow Gift Card Holder



Welcome crafty friends!!  Today it's Gift Card day.  I am using up the last of my Let It Sow Designer Series Paper.  The Let It Snow DSP is no longer available, however the stamp set and punch are still in stock and can be purchased as a bundle.  Keep in mind bundles are discounted 10%  This card can be made up quickly with any DSP for any occasion.

    • Real Red layer 3 3/8" x 3 1/2"
    • Coastal Cabana layers 3 1/8" x 3 1/4", 4 3/16" x 3 7/16"

    • Whisper White liner 4 1/8" x 5 3/8", 3/4" x 3 1/2"

TIP:  I used the Real Red Curly Ribbon to add a whimsical element to my card by making is look bow-tie like.  To do that I tied a know in the ribbon while is was still on the spool, then cut to size and fluffed it up.  Attached to snowman with a glue dot.
