#DOswts428 Sketch Inspiration Card - featuring Botanical Layers

Hey Friends!  I originally made this card for a STARS Blog Hop that took place on 9 March.  But my daughter had other plans for me Saturday and my post was not finished so here is my #DOswts428 Sketch Inspiration Hop card a few days late.  I used a double stamping technique for the my snake plant.  I stamped once with Lemon Lime Twist and then added color with Granny Apple Green Stampin' Write Marker directly to the stamp for the 2nd stamping.  It is best to use a stamping platform for this type of stamping. 





Card Details:

    • Botanical Layers

    • Granny Apple Green card base - 11" x 4 1/4". score @ 5 1/2"
    • Granny Apple Green embossed & die cut layer  3" x 4" 
    • Basic White stamped & die cut layer - 3" x 4", plus scrap for sentiment
    • Lemon Lime Twist sentiment accent layer - 1/2" x 2 1/2" 
  • Ink 
    • Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad
    • Granny Apple Green Stampin' Write Marker
  • Tools/Embellishments 
    • Deckled Rectangle Dies 
    • Striped & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder
    • Stampin' Emboss & Die Cut Machine 
    • Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins 
    • Your favorite stamping platform

    Stamping with Friends Blog Hop - Z-Fold Card featuring Hedgehog Hugs

    Hey Friends!  Today I am joining the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop. This one is a fun fold challenge making a z-fold card.  I decided to try a double z-fold, something I have never made.  My card features the adorable Hedgehog Hugs DSP paired with the Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper. 



    Card Details:

    • Stamps

      • Pecan Pie Cardstock
      • Flight & Airy 12" x 12"  DSP - SAB Product
    • Ink
      • Memento Tuxedo Black, Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo
    • Embellishments
      • Opaque Faceted Gems - SAB Product


    I used Petal Pink and Flirty Flaming Stampin' Write Markers to color the flower and flower buds. Under the hedgehog I used an aqua painter to add a little Pecan Pie ink under his feet.
