Case a Friend Blog Hop - featuring Artfully Composed


Happy Friday Crafty Friends!!! Today I am participating in an international blog hop and the theme is CASE a Friend. If you are not familiar with CASE - it means Copy And Share Everything. The card I am casing was created my fellow STAR teammate, Robyn Rasset. I used the same DSP, dies and stamps but changed up the colors.

 

Card Instructions
  1. Start with Pale Papaya card base measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4".
  2. Cut DSP 5 1/4" x 4" and attach to card from with glue. 
  3. Stamp sentiment on 1" x 4" piece of DSP or coordinating CS with Evening Evergreen ink and die cut top edge with accent die from Tropical Dies.  Attach to card front with glue. 
  4. Die cut greenery using Calypso Coral and Mint Macaron CS. Use glue to adhere to card front. 
  5. Die cut small accent leaves using Evening Evergreen CS and add to sentiment strip with glue. 
  6. Add 5 1/4" x 4" Basic White liner with 1/2 DSP strip to inside card. All done.

Card Case Monday - featuring Bamboo Beauty Stamp Set

Hey Crafty Friends!!!  Welcome to my Card Card Monday blog post, today I am casing a swap card that I received from my upline, Dawn Olchefske.  I loved this card layout so much, that I just had to use it for a card.


Card Details
  • Soft Succulent CS card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White CS accent layer - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", plus scrap for stamping
  • Soft Succulent CS layer - 5 " x 3 3/4"
  • 2021-2023 In-Color Shimmer Vellum 2" x 7"



According to Google 
  • What does it mean to case a card? 
    • If someone says they've CASEd a card or project, it means they were inspired by someone else's work. It's just a nice way to give kudos to someone else and admit the idea wasn't original.
