Peace & Joy with Painted Trees - Quick & Easy Cardmaking

The Painted Trees 3D Embossing Folder is part of the Season of Elegance Suite Collection.  You can see the collection on pages 22-25 of the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog or in my Online Store.  


Card Instructions: 

  1. Start with Shaded Spruce card base cut 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score & fold at 4 1/4".
  2. Cut Basic White accent layer 3 5/8" x 5 1/8" and Shaded Spruce layer 3 2/2" x 5".
  3. Emboss Shaded Spruce layer with Painted Trees folder and then add Wink of Stella to raised portions of the pines. 
  4. Adhere embossed layer to white accent layer and then adhere to card base.  
  5. Stamp sentiment of choice from Peaceful Season stamps with Shaded Spruce ink, die cut and adhere to card front as shown using Stampin' Dimensionals.   
  6. Add Gold Textured Adhesive-Backed Gems.

 


TIP: This card can easily be steppped up by subsituting Gold Foil for the Basic White layer. Adding a Gold Foil circle or strip under the sentiment or use a more decorative die-cut element.

    #FMS557 - Lights Aglow Suite - Happy Holidays

    Hey Crafty Friends! Today, I am playing with the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge FMS557. THis sketch was perfect for all my Lights Aglow Suite scraps. A friend and i have been making samplers with this suite for Christmas gifts and I have lots of paper left for some wonderful card making. The samplers will be shared in a November post.  The Lights Aglow Suite is gorgeous and you can see it all on pages 30-33 of the July - December Mini Catalog or right here.

    Countdown to Christmas #2 - Whimsy & Wonder with a little bit of Glimmer

    Hey Crafty Friends!!! September is here, my oldest daughter is visiting us for a week and her next visit home will be at Christmas!!  For me, once September arrives I start to anticipate the cooler weather and all the upcoming holidays and festivities.
