DOswts359 - Stamping with the STARS - Butterfly Inspiration Hop

 


Hey Crafty Friends!!!  Today I am sharing a card using the soon to be retired Butterfly Wishes stamps.  I paired my stamped image with Basic Gray and that wild color, Magenta Madness.

    • Basic Gray CS card base 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2", layer  5" x 3 1/2"
    • Magenta Madness CS layer 5" x 3 1/2"
    • Basic White CS stamped layer  3" x 3"

    • Versa Mark, Magenta Madness, Just Jade

TIP: I stamped the larger floral stem with Versa Mark onto the Basic Gray layer to give a tone-on-tone look.  Basic Gray ink will give you the same effect, but a little darker.   Used sponge daubers to ink up butterfly image with Magenta Madness and Just Jade ink.

#DOSWTS331 - Stamping with the STARS -- Card Sketch with Painted Poppies

Hey crafty friends!!  Today I am Stamping with the STARS and bringing you a sweet birthday for our Inspiration Hop using a simple sketch for our guide.

Tip:  I separated the strands of the Blackberry Bliss twine from the Nature's Twine bundle.  The twine alone is very thick and I want a more subtle look, so separating the strands gave me the look of "less is more".
