Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - Hello Purple Posey!!

Hello crafty friends!! Welcome to Kylie Bertucci's June training group blog hop. Today's projects features one of our new In-Colors, Purple Posey.  Although you cannot order the ink pad at this time due to quality issues, I want demonstrate how well the Purple Posey cardstock and DSP coordinate with our Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape ink/paper.  I think you will agree that they make an awesome combination.

The Great Smoky Mountains -- a little inspriation!!

We took our family vacation early this year, actually this trip was rescheduled from December.  East Tennessee and the Smoky Mountains are our favorite place to visit.  It has been 13 years since we were last here.  We have property out here and this will be our final retirement home in about 10 years.  Here are some pictures of  flowers we have seen to inspire your creativity.

International Blog Hop - Stamping on a Tile Coaster

Hello crafty friends!! Today's card is not a card, it is a coaster!!  It features the High Tides stamp set and a very encouraging sentiment.  This was so easy to create and I love the message.  I was delighted to find this lovely stamp set carried over to the new catalog.  Now we have two wonderful light house stamps -- just think of all the possibilities.

How I stamped on the tile coaster:

• I used a tile from Michael's First, I outlined my coaster onto scratch paper and stamped on paper until I was happy with the layout 
• Cleaned the tile with soap and water, letting it dry thoroughly
• Stamped images in Memento Ink, it dried quickly
• Note: 
• Since the coaster is unsealed it absorbed the ink, so no need to seal it.  
• I have washed it twice and it has not changed one bit.

Come Sail Away Suite - Available 4 June

Hello Crafty Friends!!  Only a few days remain before the launch of the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  Today I am sharing a card I made with a kit I pre-ordered.  When I saw this set I feel in love for many reasons, one being the DSP.  The Come Sail Away DSP is full of blue and I love blue.  It is a  nautical theme and my daughter is considering joining the Navy, so I have to be ready to make all kinds of nautical goodies for her.  

Measurements:

Night of Navy card base 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 

(8 1/2 x 5 1/4 folded in half)

Sahara Sand Layer 5 x 4 

DSP Layers 1 7/8 x 3 7/8 and 3 x 3 7/8

Tip: I used the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack for the "DSP" background.  The Come Sail Away DSP has similar designs.  The rope accent between the two papers is actually a sticker included in the Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack.  The Smooth Sailing Dies includes a rope die as well.

I used sponge daubers to apply Night of Navy and Gray Granite ink to the Light House stamp.  A dauber is a great way to apply multiple colors of ink to a stamp.

You have one week left to participate in my my first Annual Catalog Paper share.  I am accepting orders through 4 June.  This photo collage is only a small sample of the absolutely gorgeous Designer Specialty Paper on offer in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  I know you are going to love it.  

What is a Product Share?

• Simply put it is when a group of people (about 8) contribute to an order and then split up the product.  
• This is a Designer Series Paper Share, a great way to sample new paper without having to buy it all. 
• I collect the orders and payment, purchase the product. Upon receiving from Stampin' Up!, I cut, sort, package and send the DSP to you.
• You decide on what you want to try I have 2 options for you.  
• Option 1 - Just DSP ($21.00, plus $7.35 shipping)
• Option 2 - Gotta Have It All ($32.35, plus $7.35 shipping)
