Happy Halloween Crafty Friends!! Today is another Share It Sunday Blog Hop hosted by Melva Peters and Crafty Collaborations. Trying a technique new to me in this post, the Joseph's Coat. There are many videos on YouTube demonstrating this technique and also on Split Coast Stampers. I can't believe it took me years to give it a try. It 's not perfect but I enjoyed making it and I will definitely make more cards like this. Warning: IT CAN BE MESSY. lol
I used Bamboo Beauty for my card, it can be found on page 49 of the annual catalog. I love this stamp set it reminds me of my time in Japan. I lived in Japan for 8 years and that is where I met and married my hubby of 32 years. Did you know that bamboo can be grown in different colors? I found that out when doing a little bamboo research.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Love the technique!
ReplyDeleteI have heard of this technique but never tried it, thankyou for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you used on this card and love this technique! I'm so glad you love bamboo, because I have a love hate relationship with it. My previous home had it growing wild in the back yard, and it is almost impossible to keep under control. Grows so fast! What I do love about it was the fishing poles made from it that my deceased husband and I used to spend many wonderful hours fishing together.
