Rubber Band Stamping Technique, 21-23 In Colors and the Gingko Branch Bundle

Hey Crafty Friends!  After spending some time with family and taking a much needed trip to the Gulf Coast I am back to posting some exciting creations.  Today's card features the lovely Ginko Branch Bundle, the 2021-2023 In Colors and some rubber bands.

• Paper 
• Evening Evergreen card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score & fold at 5 1/2"
• Polished Pink layer  - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
• Pale Papaya layer  - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
• Soft Succulent layer - 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"
• Fresh Freesia scrap for sentiment label 
• Basic White cardstock - 5 1/4" x 4" for die cut from Gingko Branch Dies 
• Ink Pads
• Polished Pink
• Fresh Freesia
• Pale Papaya
• Evening Evergreen
• Other Stuff
• Blending Brushes, Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals

The Rubber Band Stamping Technique uses rubber bands wrapped around a block to stamp pattern onto card stock.  First, I blended  Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya and Polished Pink ink onto white cardstock.  After wrapping several rubber bands around my "E" block I dipped it Evening Evergreen ink and stamped away.  I repeated the inking & stamping until I was happy with the coverage.  

 

Then I die cut the largest image from the Gingko Dies and attached the die cut to the card base with glue.  This is a fun way to create a background or add interest to a die cut layer. You can even make plaid patterns with rubber bands.
