Petal Pink Poinsettia

Hello Crafty Friends!!!  Today I am sharing a Petal Pink Christmas card using Poinsettia Petals stamp set, Poinsettia dies and Poinsettia Place DSP.  Beautiful holiday card that anyone would love to receive. 

Card Details

• Paper 
• Petal Pink CS card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2" 
• Whisper White CS layer - 5 1/4" x 4" and 3/4" x 4" for sentiment
• Petal Pink CS layer - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
• Shimmery White CS die cuts - 3" x 8 1/2"
• Poinsettia Place DSP - 3" x 3 7/8
• Stamp
• Poinsettia Petals 
• Ink 
• Blushing Bride and Soft Suede
• Tools/Embellishments
• Poinsettia Dies
• Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels
• Sponge Daubers

***Color correction ink used was Blushing Bride, not Petal Pink.

TIP: Use the sponge dauber to apply ink to the center and edges of the flower petals.  I like to use the Shimmery White CS for the Poinsettia flower, it is a rich paper with beautiful subtle sparkle.  Whisper White CS with a bit of Wink of Stella or Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint would work as well.

Hey Crafty Friends!!!  October is almost behind us and I am getting focused on my Christmas cards.  Today I am sharing two, similar but different cards I received in a swap, I just love swapping and all the inspiration I get from the cards I receive.  Here are two cards made with the Poinsettia Place Suite, you will see a glammed up card using lovely foil papers and a subtle card that says "simple elegance".  Measurements and complete product list included.

Hey Crafty Friends!!  It time for another Sketch Inspiration Hop with the STARS.  This week's sketch was perfect for the Poinsettia Place DSP (currently on sale at 15% discount) and the Poinsettia Petals Bundle.  Here is my gem for you all today.

Tip: I used a sponge dauber to add Bumble Bee ink to the separate  flowers parts before gluing them together.  Poinsettia come in a myriad of colors now days so let your imagination guide you.  The small Wonderful Gems look awesome the flower center.
