#DOswts Inspiration Hop featuring Peaceful Poppies

Hey Crafty Friends!! It is time for another Inspiration Hop with the STARS.  This week it is all about the Peaceful Poppies, one of the most beautiful suites in the Spring Mini Catalog.


My card today is inspired by my friend and teammate Pam Watkins.  She kindly demonstrated this card design at our monthly team meeting.


 Card Details
  • Paper
    • Rich Razzleberry card base 8 3/4" x 4 1/4, score and fold at 3 1/4"
    • Peaceful Poppies DSP 3" x 4" and 1" x 4"
    • Whisper White layer 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Stamps

    • Rich Razzleberry, Poppy Parade, Memento Tuxedo Black

    • Rectangle Stitched Dies

Tip: The best tip I can give about this card is that is it super easy!!!  If you do all the cutting in advance you can make a bunch of these card in an hour.  Cut, score, stamp, die-cut, then assemble.

Hey crafty friends!! Today it is time for another International Blog Hop with a bunch of my card making friends.  Today it is all about the bird, the Free as a Bird stamp set and the Bird Ballad DSP.  I enjoy having birds in my yard at the feeders and water bath, so this is the perfect set for me.  In this part of Texas we have beautiful birds all year long. I just love their joyful noise.

Card Measurements:
Basic Gray card base 4 1/4" x 11", score and fold at 5 1/2",  3" x 3 1/2" (layer)
Calypso Coral layer 4" x 5 1/4",  3" x 3" (circle die cut)
Whisper White 3" x 3" (stamped circle die cut) 
Bird Ballad DSP  2" x 5 1/4" (strip) , 3" x 3 1/2" (layer)

TIP: Stamp the bird on Whisper White and die cut with a circle.  Die cut the same size circle in Calypso Coral and cut in half the adhere to back of the stamped Whisper White circle.

World Card Making Day - Come to Gather Thank-you!!


Welcome crafty friends!!  It is world Card Making Day and time for another Stamping with the Stars Inspiration Hop.  Today my card is a simple "no stamping" Thank-you card using the ever sooooo beautiful Come to Gather Designer Series Paper and the Thank-You die.

Card Measurement:
Sahara Sand card base 4 1/4" x 11", score and fold at 5 1/2"
Pretty Peacock layer 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Come to Gather DSP 4 1/16" x 5 5/16" 

Tip: Cut the two of the Thank-You Die, one in Pretty Peacock and a second in Sahara Sand.  Carefully glue them together using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue or the Fine Tip Glue Pen.  Tis gives the die cut more bulk and makes is stand out a bit more on the card front.
