#DOswts449 - Sketch Inspiration Hop - Today it's all about the paper - Love Notes DSP!



Happy Saturday Crafty Friends! It is time for the first Stamping with the Stars Bloghop for 2026.  Today my card features the Love Notes 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper and no stamping.  

 

Card Details 

  • Paper 
    • Afternoon Azure card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
    • Loves Notes DSP & Cardstock 
      • Afternoon Azure gingham layer 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
      • Real Red Two Tone cardstock layer 5 1/2" x 4"
      • DSP layers - 1 1/4" x 4 (cut 3)
      • Strawberry Slush Two Tone cardstock layer - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
      • Love Notes DSP cut apart - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
      • Basic WHite & Vellum scraps for computer generated sentiment
      •  5 1/4" x 4", plus scrap for die cut sentiment
  • Embellishments
    • White Bakers Twine - colored red with Real Red Blends
    • Low Profile Dots (retired)







I made a landscape version of the sketch and all the paper came from the Love Notes paper pack.  The sentiment is made on my PC and printed onto Basic White card stock, then die cut and added a layer of die cut Vellum.  The white twine I colored with the Real Red Blends and secured with white twine.

Happy New Year - Hugs & Kisses - Stamping with Friends Blog Hop Today!!

 


Happy New Year Crafty Friends!! I am hoping to have a great year that is full of creative and crafty days.  I am starting the new year with a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop for a Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I selected the first row down - Layers, Die Cut and Designer Paper.  Wishing you a safe, happy and crafty 2026.

Bee Mine Suite Card for Valentines

Happy Tuesday Friends!!  Today's card features the Bee Mine Suite, that you can find on pages 8-10 of the Jan- Apr 2024 Min Catalog.  This suite is so fun. 


Card Details
  • Stamps
    • Bee My Valentine 
  • Paper
    • Sweet Sorbet card base - 11" x 4 1/4" (score & fold at 5 1/2"
    • Basic White cardstock - scrap for stamped & punched bee, wings and hearts
    • Bee Mine Designer Series Paper - 5 1/2" x 3 1/4"  and 5 1/2" x 2 3/4"
  • Ink
    • Memento Tuxedo Black
    • Crushed Curry 
  • Embellishment
    • Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers
    • Bee Builder Punch 



There are four different stamps for the bee's face, the wink is my favorite.  I used Crushed Curry for my bee stripes.   




Here is another version of the card, added the Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon and stamped the wings with Petal Pink ink.  Which layout do you prefer?

    Boho Blue Valentine - featuring Country Bouquet Stamps & Punch and the New Of Art & Texture Stamps

    Hey Friends!! Today I am sharing a non-traditional blue Valentine.  I used the Of Art & Texture Stamps (an On-Line Exclusive product) and Wink of Stella on the hearts.  



    Card Details:
    • Stamps:
      • Country Bouquet, Of Art & Texture 
    • Paper
      • Boho Blue card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score & fold at 5 1/2"
      • Basic White layer - 5" x 3 3/4", plus scrap  for punched hearts & sentiment strip
      • Boho Blue layer - 5" x 3 3/4", plus scrap for punched heart
      • Vellum - 3" x 3" for punch circle
    • Ink
      • Boho Blue
    • Tools/Embellishments
      • Country Bouquet Punch
      • Decorative Circle Punch
      • Classic Matte Dots
      • Wink of Stella Glitter Brush


    I misted the Boho Blue layer with water and crinkled up, unfolded it to dry.  I added ink on the high spots.  Wrapped white bakers twine around and used glue dots to attach to card front.
