Hello and welcome to this week's DOStamper Stars Thursday "Color My World Challenge" #248 featuring
Basic Black,
Cajun Craze and
Pumpkin Pie inks, and
Wood Crate Framelits, perfect color for Fall which is just around the corner. Although in Texas, it does not show up until November. Hot one day and cold the next, never a gradual change. Today, I did a little punch art creating pumpkins for my little wood crate. Pretty soon I will be putting some pumpkins in the yard, even in this heat (it was 94 today) pumpkins are for sale all over town.
Card Measurements:
Basic Black Card Base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Cajun Craze Layer 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Very Vanilla Layer 5 1/4 x 4
Tangerine Tango Pumpkin 5 x 5
Pumpkin Pie Pumpkin 4 x 1 1/2
Wood Textures DSP 6 x 6
TIP: Pumpkins were cut with the
Layering Ovals Framelits for the large and
Layering Circles Framelits for the small. I sponged the edges each pumpkin with Cajun Craze and then added a bit of Crumb Cake ink to the centers for a little depth and definition. The stems were free handed from scraps of Wood Textures DSP and Crumb Cake cardstock. The sentiment and falling leaves are from the oh so wonderful
Merry Café stamp set.
