Oh Christmas Tree!!

Hey crafty friends. Today I am celebrating the Winter Woods stamp set. I love the evergreen tree in this set it makes the best Christmas and Holiday.  This card is beautifully simple and the Itty Bitty Christmas stamps make finding the perfect sentiment so easy. 

Card Measurements: 
Real Red card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/2,  3" x 3 7/8"
Very Vanilla layers  4 1/8" x 5 3/8", 2 7/8" x 3 2/4", plus scraps
Toile Tidings DSP 2" x 5 3/8"

Ink:
Garden Green

Tip: Use blends to make your Basic Rhinestone Jewels any color.  I colored mine with Dark Real Red and Dark Poppy Parade Blends.  Or you can use the Holiday Rhinestone Jewels (150457), Noble Peacock Rhinestones (149494) or the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (146924).

Welcome crafty friends!!  Today it's time to celebrate it the Let It Sow Designer Series Paper.  I love the colors, the snowmen, the texture, and the stripes.  Terrific paper crafting tool for this season.

Card Measurements: 
Coastal Cabana card base 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2'
Real Red layer 3 1/8" x 3 5/8"
Let It Snow DSP 1 3/4" x 4" (3 each) and 3" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White 3/4" x 4" 




Tip: I placed two dimensionals, stacked, in the center of the sentiment strip to add a bit of height.

Fall In Texas -- Come to Gather DSP



Hey Crafty Friends!!  I am participating in a challenge today with some awesome international card makers.  To see all the cards in the Blop Highlights Challenge click here.  You can vote for your 5 favorites.  The top 10 cardmakers will participate in an international blog hop at the end of November.

Leaves are changing in Texoma and it won't be long before all the trees are bare.  Around here the leaves fall fast -- it freezes, colors changes, and they hit the ground.  Love everything about this time of year except raking leaves. The Come to Gather DSP has some beautiful colors and patterns that makes some awesome Fall cards to help me remember the colors of Fall in Texoma.  Thanks to fellow demo Raquel Batth for the inspiration for this card.

Card Measurements: 
Merry Merlot card base 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Cajun Craze layer 5" x 3", scraps for die cut
Come to Gather DSP 5 1/2" x 3 3/4"
Whisper White liner 5 1/4" x 4, scraps for sentiment
Ink:
Merry Merlot and Sahara Sand

TIP:  Stamp sentiment first then die cut.  I tried cutting first then stamping, did not work so well.  I also use retired Washi Tape to keep my dies in place before running through my die cutting machine.  That is what works best for me.
