Abstract Impressions - Keep Me Stamping!!

Hey Crafty Friends!  Last week Stampin' Up! introduced a stamping color challenge to keep us going during these crazy times using the hashtag #keepstamping.  We were challenged to create a project using one or more of the following colors.

TIP: I wrapped the twine around the card layers 3 times securing it with snail on the back.  Then used a small piece of twine to tie it together in front and covered the knot with the sentiment.

DO Stamping with the Stars Textured Folder Inspiration Hop #309


Welcome to the bi-monthly hop #309 hosted by the DOStamper STARS, you are going to see lots of inspiration here!!  Today we are featuring a textured impression folder stamping technique, by using the folder to put ink on paper. 

I am using the  Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This folder is FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  My card is monochromatic using the Soft Sea Foam ink on the Soft Sea Foam card stock. 


Measurements:
Soft Sea Foam base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and 4 x 4
Soft Sea Foam embossed layer 5 1/4x 4
Whisper White liner 5 1/2 x 4
Ink:
Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzazz (sentiment)

TIP: Apply ink directly to the embossing folder on one side only.  Lay paper on clean side then close folder by folding inked side onto paper side while folder is flat on table. Then run through Big Shot, then folder with warm water and dry thoroughly.

Friday Card Share - Garden Impressions Suite

One of my favorite bundles is the Garden Impressions suite on page 128 of the Annual Catalog.  The bundle includes the Abstract Impressions stamp set and Springtime Impressions Thinlets Dies.  The  Garden Impressions 6 x 6 DSP on page 191 completes the suite.  Here are fou lovely cards I received in a catalog swap.
