Fresh Freesia Monochrome Card featuring Hugs For Love Stamp Set

Hey Crafty Friends!  For the second color of the 2025 Monochrome Insta-Hop the color is Fresh Fressia.  It happens to be one of my friend Pat's favorite colors.  This card is an easy one and has a great message.  Hope you find some inspiration here.  



Card Details

  • Paper 
    • Fresh Freesia card base - 11" x  4 1/4" score/fold at 5 1/2", scrap for die cut layer
    • Basic White layer - 4" x 3", scrap for die cut label
    • Toadstool gardens 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper - 4" x 1 5/8"
  • Ink
    • Fresh Fressia Ink
    • Fresh Fressia Stampin' Write Marker
  • Tools/Embellishments
    • Adhesive-Backed Heart Sequins
    • Stylish Shapes Dies (love these dies)
    • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
    • Your favorite stamping platform
    • Adhesive



I layered the DSP on the wite panel and then used the Fresh Freesia Stampin' Wtire Maker to colotr the edge all around.  I think it just makes a nice transistion when I use the same color ink as base.  The hearts sequins were perfect for this card.

    Pecan Pie Monochrome Card - featuring Seaside Wishes

    Hey Crafty Friends!  Today's post features the Pecan Pie monochrome card I made for an Instagram hop on June 28, 2024.  It features the Seaside Wishes Bundle trio, the Hybrid Embossing Folder (includes folder and dies) and stamps set.  Hope you find some inspiration here.  



    Card Details

    • Stamp/Dies - Seaside Wishes Bundle (includes stamps, dies & embossing folder)
    • Paper 
      • Pecan Pie card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score & fold at 4 1/4"
      • Pecan Pie embossed layer - 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
      • Pecan Pie - scrap for die cut star
      • Basic White - scrap for die cut sentiment
    • Ink 
      • Pecan Pie Classic Ink 
      • White Craft Ink
    • Embellishments 
      • Baker's Essentials Twine
      • Neutrals Adhesive-Backed Sequins



    I applied white ink to the debossed side of the embossing folder and then embossed the Peacn Pie layer. The white ink accented the images and made them stand out. Great way to add color to embossed images.

      Misty Moonlight Monochrome Insta-Hop

      Hey Friends!! It is one of my favorite colors for the Monochrome Friday Insta-Hop, Misty Moonlight.  I kept it simple today with the a dry embossed layer, a little white pigment ink accent, and a simple sentiment with a big of baker's twine.

        • Basic White sentiment - scrap for punched label

        • Modern Oval Punch
        • Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
        • Distressed Tile Embossing Folder

        • Brayer 
        • Silicone Mat



      After dry embossing my cardstock with the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder I laid added some White Pigment ink with my brayer.  Very quick and easy way to highlight embossed images.
