Monochrome Friday - It's Sweet Sorbet!

Hey Friends!! time for another Monochrome Friday Insta-Hop.  Today is a Sweet Sorbet notecard kind of day.  I created a Sweet Sorbet ink background by laying down some ink on my silicone craft sheet, spraying on some water and picking it up with my Basic White card stock. Once it was dry I stamped my image from the Color & Contour Stamps using black ink.  To finish it off I made a frame using the Scalloped Contours Dies.  No bling on this card today just paper and ink.

Prior to removing the paper from the die cut frame I used a craft knife to trim out the center of the die cut to make the frame. I added some splatters with my Sweet Sorbet and Basic Black markers for some visual interest then attached the frame using liquid glue.  I think this is a perfect little notecard.

#DOSwts354 Sketch Inspiration Hop - Well Suited DSP

 

Hey Crafty Friends!!  The first team challenge of the new year!!  Every month I look forward to the creative team challenges.  Nothing gets your creative mojo going like creating with your team.  For today's sketch challenge I used the great Well Suited Designer Paper, I love the strong masculine colors and design of this paper, it is special.  The sentiment is from the Heal Your Heart Stamp, a Sale-A-Bration item that you can get for FREE with a qualifying purchase!!

Card Instructions: 

1. Start with card base cut 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
2. Layer DSP pieces cut 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" and 1" x 4 1/2"according to sketch with liquid glue.
3. Die cut DSP with largest die from the Tasteful Labels Dies and stamp sentiment. Adhere to card front with dimensionals
4. Adhere Frosted Epoxy Droplets and add liner inside card if desired.
