DOStamper STARs Thursday Challenge #304 - A Simple Thanks

Welcome to the DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #304.  This week it is my favorite a Sketch Pad Challenge and I am using another favorite the Festive Farmhouse DSP.  No Christmas card today, but a Thank-you card.  I find that I can never have enough of them around. 

 

  Measurements:

Cherry Cobbler base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

Sahara Sand Layer 5 x 3 3/4  

Festive Farmhouse DSP 4 3/4 x 3 1/2

Sahara Sands & Cherry Cobbler sentiment layer 3 x 3 

Ink:

Cherry Cobbler

Tip:  To create sentiment die cut 2 (1 Sahara Sand and 1 Cherry Cobbler) use bits cut out of Cherry Cobbler to fill holes in Sahara Sand.  Back up with scrap piece of DSP and secure with snail.

Simple Snowflake Card - featuring Snowfall Framelits

Hello!!!  Today I am sharing a card that created with the soon to be released Snowfall Thinlets.  The Snowfall Thinlets are part of a time limited set, Snowflake Showcase, that is totally amazing and only available in the month of November.  The card design today is inspired by Jane Allmark, a wonderful UK Stampin' Up!(R) demonstrator.  

   Measurements:

Whisper White Thick base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4  

Watercolor Paper 4 x 4

Galvanized Paper layer 4 x 4 (snowflake)

Ink:

Brusho Prussian Blue 

Blueberry Bushel

TIP: The first task to accomplish with this card is coloring the watercolor paper with Brusho. Mist the paper with water, use Aqua Painter to apply Brusho. Once you have achieved desired level of coverage set aside to dry. While it is drying you can die cut snowflake and frame.  You can spritz Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol on while drying to give it some shimmer.

DOStamper STARs Thursday Challenge #303 - featuring Peaceful Noel Wreath Card

Welcome to the DOStamper Stars Thursday Challenge #303.  This week, from rainy Texas, I bring you a card made with the Peaceful Noel Bundle.  A  terrific little bundle that you can find on page 29 of the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  

   Measurements:

 Crumb Cake base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4  

Festive Farmhouse DSP 1 3/4 x 5 1/2

Whisper White layer 3 x 3 (2ea)

Ink:

Cherry Cobbler

TIP:  To make the wreath you need two (2) ovals of same size and several sprigs (using Sprig Punch) in Mossy Meadow and Old Olive.  Stamps one oval with Peaceful Noel sentiment and set aside.  Use Tombow Liquid Glue to adhere sprigs to second her oval, keep adding sprigs to achieve desired look.  Attached stamped oval layer  to oval with sprigs using dimensionals, essentially creating a sprig sandwich.  Use more Tombow to attach to card base.  Added Adhesive Backed Sequins, some were colored with Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blend.
