Sunday Catalog CaSE - Daisy Delight

After a longer than anticipated absence, I am back to blogging.  I have made some changes to the look of my blog and I will soon be launching a Face Book page to go along with the blog.  I want to give credit to my niece, Andrea Porter, for creating my blog banner.  It suites me to a tea, haha!!!

Today, I am sharing a card CaSE (Copy and Share Everything) card from page 123 of the  2018-2019 Annual Catalog using the Daisy Delight stamp set.  This set is one of my favorites from last year and I hope Stampin' Up! keeps is around for many years.

Measurements:
Daffodil Delight Card Base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Whisper White Layer 5 1/4 x 4 & 3 x 3

Ink:
Daffodil Delight
Old Olive

This is a quick card to make that has a bit of added dimension with the flower and some sparkle courtesy of  Wink of Stella in the center.  The original card in the catalog was made on a 3 x 5 Note Card.  I chose to make it into an A4 size card with Daffodil Delight base.  An Old Olive card base is also an option.  Love to make quick cards!!

Sunday Catalog CASE - Rooted In Nature

Today's project is a gift card holder that I CaSE'd from page 142 of the annual catalog.

Measurements:
Powder Pink Base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, score at 3 1/4 and 5 1/4
Whisper White Layer 1 1/2 x 4 1 /2 and 2 3/4 x 4 1/2
Whisper White and Soft Suede scraps

Note: CaSE - Copy and Share Everything

Technique Tip: The leaf image was stamped using an embossing piece from the framelits that I attached to a stamping block with a few glue dots.  The glue dots kept the framelit secured while I stamped away.  After I finished stamping I separated framelit from block, removed glued dots and washed the framelit in warm water.

Product List

I also created a small envelope using the Nature's Poem DSP.  If you would like a PDF file with detailed instructions for the card and envelope, email me at texdelch@hotmail.com.

Case the Catty: Featuring Falling Flowers Stamps and May Flowers Framelits

A few weeks ago I was looking through my collection of SU catalogs for a card to CASE (Copy and Share Everything). Sometimes I just CASE the layout and there are times when I copy the project in it's entirety. So here is my CAESd card Falling Flowers stamp set and May Flowers Framelits.  I find the catalogs are a great source of inspiration for making cards and other projects.  This is my interpretation of the sample in the catalog.  Although I changed the layout a bit I used similar colors and the same stamps and die cuts.

Card Measurements:
Crushed Curry base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
 white (retired) layer  2 1/2 x 3 1/2
Melon Mambo 3 x 3
 Tempting Turquiose 3 x 3
Old Olive 3 x 3

Inspiration from 2016-2017 Stampin Up Catalog

TIP:  To give the flower extra dimension I used multiple layer of Stampin Dimensionals.   There is one dimensional layer under the Tempting Turquoise flowers.  The Melon Mambo has one layer of dimensionals and is placed on top of the Tempting Turquoise flowers to give a bit more lift. (Hope that is clear.) Also adding the Pearl Basic Jewels  draws you eye to the flowers as well.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, Tea and Stamps.  I hope you enjoyed my project featuring May Flowers Framelits and Falling Flowers Stamps.   Below is the same card in the 2017-2018 In Colors that made a few weeks ago. You can check it out on my blog here.
