Simple Spring Sampler - Pleased As Punch

Happy Sunday Friends!!  This CoronaVirus has not stopped my team from crafting.  Last week we got together on a private FB live and made a Spring Sampler using the awesome Pleased As Punch DSP.  The 8"x8" sampler was inspired by a Stampin' Up! ad.  We added our special touch to make it unique.  This is the sampler framed and ready to display and I have added instructions below so you can make your own.  Keep in mind some items will not be available after 31 March 2020.  Details are below.  


Sampler Details
  • Paper
    • Highland Heather 8"x 8", one sheet for die cuts
    • Shimmer White  7 1/4" x 7 1/4"
    • So Very Vellum 7" x 7"
    • Balmy Blue scraps
    • Whisper White scraps
    • Pleased As Punch DSP 
  • Stamps
    • Timeless Tulips 
    • Thoughtful Blooms
  • Ink
    • Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Embellishment/Tools
    • Heart Punch Pack
    • Tailored Tag
    • Tulip Builder 
    • Umbrella Builder
    • Small Bloom (SAB Item)
    • Stitched Shapes Dies
    • Layering Squares Dies 
    • Rectangle Stitched Dies
    • Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon

 Instructions 
  • Cut base layers first, glue together and set aside
    • Highland Heather 8" x 8"
    • Shimmer White  7 1/4" x 7 1/4"
    • So Very Vellum 7" x  7" 
  • Square layers 
    • Die cut 4 pieces of DSP with largest Stitched Shapes square 
      • or a cut a 2 5/8" x 2 5/8" square (if you do not have dies)
    • Die cut 4 pieces of Highland Heather CS with 2nd largest scalloped square from the Layering Squares Dies
      • or cut a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" square (if you do not have dies)
  • Punch or Fussy Cut 
    • Tulips 
      • 3 flowers and 2 leaves (more or less, it is your choice)
    • Umbrella 
      • One open umbrella and a handle
      • One closed unbrella and a handle
    • Heart 
      • One DSP heart
      • One CS heart, color should match DSP heart 
    • Small Blooms
      • Punch 6 random or same colored flower
      • For flower pot use half Tailored Tag punch 
  • Buiding your squares
    • Glue DSP layer onto scalloped card stock
      • Tulips 
        • Glue tulips and leaves together attach to square with dimensionals, tie a knot in ribbon and attach with glue dots or snail on backside of square.
      • Umbrella 
        • Attach umbrella with dimensionals then add handles with small amount of glue.  Shorten handles if desired, I did. 
      • Heart 
        • Glue hearts together and attach with dimensionals to square. Stamps sentiment on Whisper White CS and die cut with 1' x 3" Rectangle Stitched Die or cut 1" x 3" glue to heart.
      • Small Blooms 
        • Stamp random design on Balmy Blue scrap and punch with Tailored tag punch -- only need half of tag for flower pot, glue to square.  Use dimensionals to attach flowers and if desired add a Pearl Basic Jewel to flower centers.  I colored my pearls with Dark Mango Melody blend. (optional)



Notes:

Pleased As Punch -- #DOSWTS335 Inspiration Hop


Hey Crafty Friends!! We are sheltering in place in Wichita Falls, we can go out for essentials and school is out until after Easter.  To pass the time I clean, cook and craft as well as pend quality time with my family.
