Christmas Count Down Week 4 - Be Merry DSP and Labels to Love

This week for my Count Down to Christmas I am using (again) two of my favorite products, Be Merry DSP and Labels to Love stamp set to create a simple card for an upcoming swap.

Card Measurements:
Cherry Cobbler  Card Base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Garden Green Layer 5 3/8 4 1/8
Be Merry DSP Layer  5 1/4 x 4
Be Merry DSP Accent 1 1/4 x 4

💔 Sending prayers to all affected by the fires in California.  Please pray for my card swapping Facebook friend, Tami Hope Ridgway and her family, their neighborhood was lost to the fires.  My heart aches for everyone.

TIP: You are probably wondering how I cut the curves on my DSP.  Well, many years ago when I started scrapbooking I bought a Cutting System from Creative Memories.  It is very old and I still use it on occasion.  It is so handy and I will keep it forever.

I just put my two pieces of DSP together and used the Cutting System Circle as a guide to cut the paper.  Voila, now I have a curve.

Hello and welcome to this week's DOStamper Stars Thursday "Color My World Challenge" #252 featuring Cajun Craze, Soft Sky and Peekaboo Peach colors.  These are great colors for a Fall card, but I decided to make a gift card holder since my son is having a birthday on Sunday.  He will be 15 and he love's gift cards.  This morning I found a quick gift card tutorial by Barb Mulikin that was perfect.  It is very easy to get together the hardest part was deciding on stamps to use.
