Mystery Card Challenge Part 2 - Tropical Oasis DSP

Hey Crafty Friends!!  Continuing the Mystery Challenge from Tuesday post here.  Here are two cards made with the exact same materials and same measurements just make some simple changes and poof two similar but different cards.

Tip: For this type of card it is all about where you put the DSP, left, right, center, off center, it is up to you.  From one sheet of DSP you can make 8 cards using these dimensions.

Garden Lane DSP - Retiring 2 June - Mystery Card Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends!! Once a month my upline host a crafty weekend.  We kicked off this weekend's events at a team meeting on Thursday with a Mystery Card Challenge.  We were given a list of items to bring to the meeting and then given about 5 minutes to put a card together.  The card was not demonstrated, but we were given verbal non-specific instructions. Everyone's card came out different and it was lots of fun, especially since we were meeting on Zoom.  That was the fastest card I remember making.


Here is the list of supplies we were given:
  • DSP 3" x 5 1/2"
  • Cardstock 3 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • White or vanilla scrap for sentiment
  • Stamp set with sentiments and block
  • Ink pad
  • Punch or die cut for sentiment
  • Ribbon and/or embellishment
  • Adhesive, bone folder, scissors, dimensionals
Tip: This is a great event for a team meeting.  I highly recommend you try it with your team or at your next event.  I will be posting cards using these measurements for a few days just to show you how different they can be.

#DOswts338 Last Chance Product Inspiration Hop - Featuring 2018-2020 In-Colors and A Big Thank-You


Hey Crafty Friends!!!  It is time for another blog hop with the STARS.  Today we are celebrating all the products that are retiring in the 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  I am showing off the lovely 2018-2020 In-Colors and A Big Thank You stamp set.  When I first saw them I was taken back to elementary school and all the bright primary colors.  These 2018-2020 In-Colors are so rich and they will be truly missed, for me I will especially miss the Blueberry Bushel.  Make sure you get your favorites before they are gone.

TIP: For the label I punched a second label in Grapefruit Grove and cut it in half.  Then glue it to both ends of the stamped label to add a little color and include Grapefruit Grove cardstock in the card.  I highlight Call Me Clover by using it to stamp the sentiment.
