#DOswts365 - Create with Friends with a Alcohol Ink Vellum Accent

 


Hey Crafty Friends!!!  It is time for this month's second team hop featuring a Patriotic Inspiration Theme.   Today I created a stripped vellum accent stripe using rubbing alcohol and Stampin' Blend.   Hope you are inspired by my card and have a wonderful 4th of July.



Card Details

  • Paper
    • Real Red CS card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" score and fold at 4 1/4" plus scraps for die cuts
    • Night of Navy layer - 4 7/8" x 3 5/8", plus scraps for die cuts
    • Basic White CS layer - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2" 
    • Vellum 1" x 4 3/4"
  • Stamps 
    • Create with Friends
  • Ink
    • Real Red and Night of Navy 
  • Accessories 
    • Real Red Stampin' Blends, Night of Navy Stampin' Blends, Metallic Pearls, Rubbing Alcohol




Tip: I put together a short video on how I made my stripped vellum.  It is really easy,  just need Stampin' Blends, rubbing alcohol (91% or higher alcohol content), and vellum.  Using a Heat Tool speeds up the process, but it is not necessary.

Sunday Card Share - May 2021 6x6 Swap

I love to swap cards and I swap many cards throughout the year, one of my favorite swaps it the 6x6 Swap.  Swap 6 cards with 6 people by the 6th of each month for 6 months.  After six months I sign up again and I usually swap with a new group.  The group I am swapping with now is awesome, fabulous card makers.  Here the cards I received for the May swap.  Enjoy!!

  • Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up!'s monthly subscription service that offers unique papercrafting projects for crafters of any skill level!

How Do I Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin?

There are two choices for subscribing...

First, is the monthly subscription option where you pay as you go (auto-pay from your credit card each month).

Second, is the Prepaid Subscription option. Prepaids can be order just like other Stampin' Up! products. This is great when you want to pay for your kits in advance and there is a slight discount for 6 or 12 month prepaids.
