Countdown to Christmas #3 - Tidings of Christmas Card

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Countdown to Christmas continue with Tidings of Christmas Suite.  My favorite part of this suite is the DSP, it caught my eye the first time I found it in the catalog.  This is my favorite Christmas paper for sure. 




Card Measurements 
  • Evening Evergreen CS card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4" 
  • Window Sheet - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" 
  • Christmas Tidings DSP - 10 random strips no larger than 1/2"
  • Gold Specialty Paper -  2 strips at 1/4" and 3/8", 3' x 3 " for die cut star
  • Evening Evergreen CS - 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" for star  
  • Soft Succulent CS - scrap for die cut
  • Sahara Sand CS - scrap for die cut

3D Thursday - Tool Caddie

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Today I am sharing a tool caddie I made for my classes.  Each person will have one at there seat with everything they need to paper craft.  The inspiration for this tool caddie comes from a design by Wendy Lee.  


9/19 Note:  I found that this will not hold a brand new Tear and Tape, it has to be used a bit.  When I created it my tape roll had been used about 1/4th.  






It has 3 slots for adhesives, scissors, bone folder, pencil, small ruler, pokey tool, and anything else needed to complete a card.  It can be assembled with any quality card stock and designer paper.  A PDF file with measurements will be available below.  Watch the video where I demonstrate how I put it together.
