Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - In Memoriam featuring Painted Poppies

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Today in many part of the world people are observing Remembrance Day to mark the ending of the Great War and here in the US we choose to honor all military veterans.  My husband and I are both retired Air Force Veterans and we are so glad we had the opportunity to serve around the world.

Designer Series Paper Techniques Blog Hop - featuring Ever Eden DSP

 

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Today I am participating in a Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop focusing on ways to use DSP.  I made an accordion panel card and managed to show off four sides of the fabulous Ever Eden DSP.  So pretty watch my video to see how I made this card, inspired by my upline Dawn Olchefske.

DOswts374 Sketch Inspiration Blog Hop - featuring Ever Eden DSP

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Time to play with the STARS again. I love being part of this creative group of people. I consider them my crafty family. Today's hop is a sketch inspiration hop and I decided to use the Ever Eden DSP for my Christmas card. I love the versatility of this paper, it fits all occasions.



Card Measurements
  • Soft Succulent CS - card base 8 1/5" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
  • 21-23 In-Color Vellum - layer 3 1/2' x 4 3/4"
  • Ever Eden DSP - layer 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", scraps for punched tree
  • Ever Eden Cotton Paper - strip 3/4" x 4 1/2" 
  • Basic White CS - sentiment 1/2" x 4" 
  • Crumb Cake & Evening Evergreen CS - scraps for punched trees
 


Note: I flipped the sketch because I had a little booboo on the right side that I needed to cover with the trees.  That is totally okay, you can make adjustments to any sketch to suite your style or (as in my case) you need to cover up a mistake.  Call it artistic interpretation. lol
