Abstract Impressions - Keep Me Stamping!!

Hey Crafty Friends!  Last week Stampin' Up! introduced a stamping color challenge to keep us going during these crazy times using the hashtag #keepstamping.  We were challenged to create a project using one or more of the following colors.

TIP: I wrapped the twine around the card layers 3 times securing it with snail on the back.  Then used a small piece of twine to tie it together in front and covered the knot with the sentiment.

Ever have one of those crafty days were original ideas are few and far between?  I do.  I have them often.  The catalog is a great source of ideas.  Here is a card that I CASE'd using the Daisy Lane stamp set.  Don't have the exact colors?  No problem use what you have.  I changed the colors and flower size.  You can even change the stamp set and the card size.

Balmy Blue Card for Hot August Day

Hi Crafty Friends!!  It has been so hot here in North Texas, the grass is turning brown, and the wind keeps blowing.  So how about a Balmy Blue card today to match our bue skies. This is a design I have used in the past and it is perfect for the Perennial Essence DSP.  That paper is so beautiful, it is a work of art.  
Card Measurements:
Balmy Blue base 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2
Balmy Blue layer 4 x 5 1/4
Perennial Essence DSP 1 3/4 x 6, cut at 1/2
Ink:
Petal Pink, Early Espresso

TIP: The best tip I can give for this card is to put together top layer completely before attaching to card base.  That is the method that works best for me.
