3-Gingham Cats #DOswts334 Inspiration Hop


Hey Crafty Friends!!  How about some punch art today?  I created this card for a team challenge with the DOStamper STARs.  I enjoy punch art and this one was a bit of a challenge. Thank goodness for Pinterest--my inspiration hot spot.  Here are 3 clever cats made using colors from the Brights Collection.  I really like the Brights, so cheerful this time of year. 


Card Details
  • Paper
    • Daffodil Delight 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
    • Granny Apple Green layer 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"
    • Whisper White layer 5 1/4" x 4"
    • Melon Mambo, Pool Party, and Daffodil Delight scraps for faces
    • Brights DSP 2" x 3"

    • Pacific Point Ink
    • Basic Black Stampn' Writer
  • Tools/Embellishments
    • 2 1/4" Circle Punch
    • 2"  Circle Punch

    • Noble Peacock Rhinestones
Tip:  I lined up the DSP with center of punch to make the body.  I found it was easier to punch a half circle than cutting a circle in half with a scissor.  The nose and whiskers were free handed -- I am definitely not a artist. lol.  Popped the heads up with a few mini dimensionals. The rhinestone eyes remind me of cat eyes in the dark.  I think this card needs a video.  Hopefully soon.

Petals and Parcels - Color Challenge



Hey Crafty Friends!!!  Today I am participating in Inspire.Create.Challenge #064 using Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and "Your Choice".   For my choice, I picked Whisper White.  The combo of these three colors is beyond fabulous.

  • Paper
    • Night of Navy card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4
    • Whisper White layer 5 1/4" x 4"
    • Crumb Cake stamped layer 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
    • Night of Navy and Whisper White scraps for sentiment
  • Stamps
    • Parcel and Petals (bundle and save 10% when purchased with Perfect Parcel Dies item #151107)
  • Ink
    • Night of Navy (use Stamparatus)
  • Tools/Embellishment
    • Perfect Parcel Dies 
    • Frosted Epoxy Droplets 
    • Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack 
Tip:  I used the Stamparatus for the background image it made it so much easier to line up.  I stamepd the center first, then the top and bottom layers, making sure to stamp off once.

March Customer Thank You Card - Featuring Pigment Sprinkles

Hey Crafty Friends!! Each month I make thank-you cards for my customers that make purchases through my on line store.  This month I wanted to play around with Stampin' Up! Pigment Sprinkles and the Thank-You die that I use a lot for these type of cards.

Card Details

  • Paper
    • Granny Apple Green 
      • Card Base 11" x 4 1/4" , score and fold at 5 1/2"
    • Basic Black
      • Layer cut 5 3/8' x 4 1/8", die cut Thank-you from center  
    • Golden Honey (Sale-A-Bration, SOLD-OUT)
      • Layer 5 1/4" x 4" (covers up die cut Thank-you)
    • Fluid 100 Water Color Paper
  • Ink
    • Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight Pigment Sprinkles 
  • Tools/Embellishments
    • Thank-you Die
    • Stitched Rectangle Dies
    • Clear Epoxy Droplets
    • Aqua Painter 
Tip: Wet the watercolor paper using aqua paper and be very frugal with the pigment sprinkles.  Spread the color around with aqua painter to get just the right coverage.  Let dry completely before die cutting with the



 Playing with the Pigment Sprinkles is lots of fun.  Plenty of videos on You Tube showing differing techniques, remember with the Pigment Sprinkles, less is more!!
