Share It Sunday Blog Hop - Introducing Sun Prints Collection


Hey Crafty Friends!!! It is time for another Share It Sunday Blog Hop.  This Sunday I am sharing a card made with the Sun Prints Suite Collection -- new suite in the soon to be released 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.  I love everything about this suite.  Be sure to scroll down and visit all the others in the hop, you will find great inspiration here. 



Card Details

  • Gray Granite CS card base - 11" x 4 1/4",  score and fold at 5 1/2", plus scrap for sentiment
  • Sun Prints DSP - 5 1/4" x 4",  1/2" x 4" for inside liner
  • Basic White inside liner - 5 1/4" x 1/2" for inside





Above is a picture of the stepped up version that I made in the video.  I took the picture in my backyard.  I love the addition of the greenery to this card.  Makes it special.

#DOswts385 - STARS Inspiration Hop - Neutrals Masculine Birthday Card

Hey Crafty Friends!!! It is time for another STARS Bi-Monthly blog hop, this month the theme is Mom or Dad.  I choose to make a masculine birthday card using the Scrappy Strip method and Stampin' Up!'s  Neutral Color palette.  Be sure to scroll down and visit the other blogs in the hop. 



Card Details

  • Merry Merlot CS card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
  • Merry Merlot CS layer - 5 1/4" x 4"
  • Home & Hearth DSP strips - 5 1/4" x 4", cut into 9 strips 
  • Basic White CS sentiment - scrap

Tip: The DSP is used has a wood grain pattern.  As I cut the DSP  I kept the pieces in order and colored them lightly with blending brushes using Night of Navy, Mossy Meadow, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Early Espresso.

One Layout, Five Cards - Easy Peasy!!

 Hey Crafty Friends!!!   Today I am sharing 5 different cards all made using the same layout.  In my last class the focus was on "getting back to stamping" because we had not meet since November and this layout was perfect for that group.   I used 5 differents stamps sets, different DSP and inks to create five simple 3-panel cards. Everything was pre-cut for the class, they just had to choose their card kit and get to work.  


Daisy Garden Card Details 
  • Garden Green CS base - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
