Painted Seasons Birthday Card

Hello crafty friends!!  Today I am sharing a very simple card made using the recently released Sale-A-Bration stamp set Painted Seasons stamp set.  A set that is part of a super bundle that includes fabulous Designed Series Paper.  For this project I did not use the DSP only the stamps and I am loving it!!

Measurements:

Daffodil Delight base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4

Whisper White 5 1/4 x 2 1/2 (stamped)

Whisper White 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 (sentiment)

Whisper White liner 5 1/2 x 4

Tip: The Frosted Flower Embellishments come in 3 colors, Clear, Fresh Fig and Petal Pink.  I colored a clear flower with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend to coordinate with this card.

DO Stamping with the Stars Textured Folder Inspiration Hop #309

Welcome to the bi-monthly hop #309 hosted by the DOStamper STARS, you are going to see lots of inspiration here!!  Today we are featuring a textured impression folder stamping technique, by using the folder to put ink on paper. 

I am using the  Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This folder is FREE with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  My card is monochromatic using the Soft Sea Foam ink on the Soft Sea Foam card stock. 

Measurements:

Soft Sea Foam base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and 4 x 4

Soft Sea Foam embossed layer 5 1/4x 4

Whisper White liner 5 1/2 x 4

Ink:

Soft Sea Foam and Pear Pizzazz (sentiment)

TIP: Apply ink directly to the embossing folder on one side only.  Lay paper on clean side then close folder by folding inked side onto paper side while folder is flat on table. Then run through Big Shot, then folder with warm water and dry thoroughly.
