So Many Stars!!!!

Hey Crafty Friends!! Today's card features the So Many Stars Bundle (153016) found on pages 10 and 11 of the Holiday Catalog. Such a beautiful bundle, I love the Stitched Stars Dies -- they are so beautiful.  I am posting/sharing this card on the Inspire.Create. blog challenge #054.  Contact me ASAP if you need a Holiday Catalog!!

Card Measurements: 
Seaside Spray card base 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2", 1 " x 3 1/2" 
Night of Navy layer 5 1/2" x 3 3/4",  scraps for die cuts
Mercury Glass Designer Acetate  5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Whisper White liner 5 1/4" x 4 ", 1" x 3 1/2" sentiment
Ink:
Night of Navy
TIP:  The Mercury Glass Designed Acetate sheet has a removable protective film on the good side. That is the side that should be facing up on your project. I used glue dots randomly placed only on the silver colored areas to attach it to the Night of Navy layer.

#DOswts325 - Snowman Season Shaker Card

Welcome crafty friends!! It is time for another Stampin with the Stars Inspiration Hop. My shaker card features the Snowman Season Bundle on page 18-20 of Holiday Catalog.  I must admit that I rarely take the time to make shaker cards, but when I do make one I wonder why I don't make more!!  This was fun and easy.  This layout can be adapted to any stamp set and paper color.  DID YOU KNOW???...  Well you have to check out my TIP below to see the rest...

Card Measurements: 
Coastal Cabana card base 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2", 4" x 5" for die cut
Flirty Flamingo layer 4" x 5 1/2" for die cut
Let It Snow Speciality DSP 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
Acetate Sheet 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"

Tip:  Page 41 of the Holiday Catalog has Ice Stampin Glitter.  It is meant to be used with the Shimmer Crystal Effects or some type of adhesive.  It is also perfect for shaker cards.  To add a little color to the glitter I used my Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend.  I just got a piece scrap paper and sprinkled about an 1/8 tsp on it and attacked it with my blend.  What do you think??

Hopping Around Again - Colorful Seasons Background - Happy Fall!!


Hey crafty friends!! Today I am participating in an international training blog hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci.  I am part of a world-wide group of Stampin' Up! (r) demonstrators training with Kylie to help our businesses grow.  Here is my creation for today!!! 

Card Measurements: 
Crushed Curry base 11' x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2", plus scrap for die cut
Early Espresso layer 5 1/4" x 4 1/8", plus scrap for die cut
Very Vanilla layer 5 1/4" x 4 (x2, liner)

TIP: To create the background I die cut several leaves from the Seasonal Layers dies, applied a light coat of Liquid Glue -- let it dry, so it became repositionable. Love the "Green Glue".  Then I  randomly placed leaves on the Very Vanilla layer and used the sponge brayers to apply the ink.  Used Stampin' Sponge to add more ink giving more definition to some leaves.  Removed the die cuts and background is done!!
