Simple Sunday - Let's Do a Little Masking...

Hey crafty friend!!  Welcome back to another edition of Simple Sunday.  Today it is a one layer card, ink and stamps, and a bit of  masking to make this card pop. 


Card Measurements:
Whisper White Thick 4 1/4" x 11", score and fold at 5 1/2"
Ink: 
Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point
Stamps: 
Cup of Christmas
TIP:  To make this type of card on a white card base, you must take your time and keep you hands clean.  If you have never tried masking technique before here is a great video from Stampin' Up! that helps to explain it.

Sparkling Stars Christmas Card and PDF

Hey crafty friends!!  I can't believe we are 5 days into December.  Thankfully my Christmas shopping is complete, but my tree needs some work.  I am still creating Christmas cards.  My plan is to have all the cards in mail by the 13th.

Today's project features the So Many Star's bundle, focusing on the Stitched Stars Dies.  Which I am happy to share that the Stitched Stars Dies (150653) will be carried over at least until the end of May 2020 and hopefully longer.  Woohoo!!!

Card Measurements:
Night of Navy card base 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
Whisper White layer 5 3/8" x 4 1/4"
Seaside Spray 4' x 8 1/2"  for die cuts

Tip: To attach the larger star to card I used Foam Adhesive Strips (141825).  They worked perfectly to hold the star in place and it was easier than cutting up dimensionals.  The strips are great for making shaker cards as well.

Simple Sunday - It's a Card Case!!

Welcome crafty friends!!  I have had my eye on a particular card in the Holiday Catalog for weeks.  So today I decided I needed to CaSE it.  "Copy and Share Everything", a nice acronym we use in the crafting world when we want to copy someone else's work.  The card I am "Casing" today is on page 34, using Cup of Christmas stamp set.   I made a few changes to the sentiment to suite my style. There is something really cool about the Cup of Christmas stamp set, the cups are reversible!!

Card Measurements: 
Whisper White Thick card base 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2", plus scrap
Copper Foil 3" x 3"
Ink: 
Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam 
Punches: 
2" Circle Punch
Starburst Punch
Stamps:
Cup of Christmas

TIP: The Stampin' Up! catalogs are great inspiration for cards and paper crafts.  I use them often, especially when I need a creative boost.  You can copy a cards exactly or change colors, sentiments, what ever inspires you.   It is all up to you and how you get inspired to create and share.
