#DOswts376 - Sketch Inspiration Bloghop featuring tidings of Christmas Suite

 Hello Crafty Friends!!!  It is time for another STARS Sketch Inspiration Hop, today's card is made with the Tidings of Christmas Suite products.  I believe the DSP is by far my favorite Christmas paper. 

Card Measurements
  • Misty Moonlight CS cardbase - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4", scrap for leaves
  • Tiding of Christmas DSP - 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" (2), scrap for sentiment
  • Sahara Sand CS - scrap for stocking and berry sprig
  • Soft Succulent CS - scrap for holly leaves
Note: For the berry sprig I colored the berries with Cherry Cobbler Blend and then added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to each berry.  It takes about 30-60 minutes to dry but it leave a 3D effect.

Soft Pastels Bloghop - featuring the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder


Hey Crafty Friends!!! Today I am participating in an international blog hop hosted by my friends at Crafty Collaboration.  The theme today is Soft Pastels -- so if you have every wonder how you can use the pastels in your card making this hop is for you.  Be sure to visit all the other bloggers for inspiration. 


Card Measurements
  • Poppy Parade CS card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
  • Basic White CS embossed layer - 4" x 5 1/4", plus scrap for sentiment
  • Granny Apple Green CS - scrap for sentiment


Note: I scrapped chalks onto my silicon mat and used blending brushes to apply chalk to dry embossed white cardstock.  Once I was happy with colors I sprayed the cardstock lightly with hair spray to fix the chalks.

Countdown to Christmas #7 - Peaceful Deer and Tidings of Christmas DSP

Hey Crafty Friends!!!  December is here and we all need to get our cards in mail.  Here is a sweet card and layout comes together so easily and it is so cheerful.  I love the Tidings of Christmas DSP it is so elegant and work with any holiday stamp set. 




Card Measurements 

  • Evening Evergreen CS card base - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4" 
  • Basic White CS layer - 3 3/4" x 5", 3" x 4 " for trees, scrap for deer
  • Basic White CS liner - 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Tidings of Christmas DSP - 1 1/2" x 3 3/4" (3 each), 1/2" x 5 1/4" for liner accent

Note: This layout works for many stamps and DSP combinations.  Just let your imagination lead your creativity.
