Blog Hop - Featuring Elements of the Nature's Poem Suite!!

I love the combination of Cajun Craze and the new Stampin’ Up!® color Grapefruit Grove, they make me crave crisp Fall days.  The Nature's Twine (a great bargain) and the Basic Sequins add a sweet touch of color to complete this card.  I absolutely adore the Nature's Poem DSP and I am happy I added to my paper collection.

Sunday Catalog CaSE - Artistically Asian

Today's card is CaSE'd (Copy and Share Everything) from page 135 of the annual catalog.  I love the calming nature of this set.  It reminds me of my many years living in Japan.

Early Espresso, Pacific Point, Crushed Curry, Old Olive

Tip:   Several stamping techniques used to make this card.  The Sun was created using a mask from the Layering Circles Framelits and sponged with Crushed Curry until I achieved the desired effect.  A Stampin Marker was used to get the splatter effect,  I flicked the lid across the brush end to get the splattering done.  Stamping off was used for the Bamboo.

Loving the Share What You Love Suite!!!

Today, I am sharing with you three more cards I made with the Share What You Love Suite.  It has to be my favorite suite in the new catalog.  The best part is the designer paper, it is absolutely gorgeous. You can check the entire suite and all its loveliness on page 176 &177 of the 2018-2019 catalog.

Tip: The Share What You Love suite is fabulous.  It has everything, the Love What You Do stamp set, beautiful paper, ribbon, embellishment kit, pearls, embossing folder, coordinating cardstock pack,  and the loveliest doilies.  It is absolutely superb.  It also coordinates with the Make A Difference stamp set on page 178, a terrific alphabet set that includes common double letter combinations.  I know you will love this suite as much as I do.

Lots of Lavender - Sale-a-Bration

Hello from Kerrville, Texas.  I am in Kerrville for the annual Texas Basket Weavers Association conference.  I thought I would have lots of time to blog about all my cards, but the baskets have distracted me. lol

Do you like free!!!  Lots of Lavender is a lovely stamp set that is free with a qualifying purchase during Sale-a-Bration. Here is a card I made for a swap using this set and embossing powder. I really like this stamp set, because I love lavender, especially lavender plants.

TIP:  Stamped complete image prior to running paper through Big Shot with Lots of Labels framelits.  At the time I was not sure which label to use.  I tried a larger one, but it covered too much of the background,  the smaller framelit shows off more of the Embossing Powder background and Silver Foil layer.  Again this is all trial and error, you have to go with what looks good to you.
