Monochrome Friday - It's Sweet Sorbet!

Hey Friends!! time for another Monochrome Friday Insta-Hop.  Today is a Sweet Sorbet notecard kind of day.  I created a Sweet Sorbet ink background by laying down some ink on my silicone craft sheet, spraying on some water and picking it up with my Basic White card stock. Once it was dry I stamped my image from the Color & Contour Stamps using black ink.  To finish it off I made a frame using the Scalloped Contours Dies.  No bling on this card today just paper and ink.

    • Basic White frame - 2 3/4" x 4", die cut with 3rd largest Scalloped Contour die

Prior to removing the paper from the die cut frame I used a craft knife to trim out the center of the die cut to make the frame. I added some splatters with my Sweet Sorbet and Basic Black markers for some visual interest then attached the frame using liquid glue.  I think this is a perfect little notecard.

    Monochrome Friday - It's an Orchid Oasis Day!

    Hey Friends!  This Friday's Monochromatic Insta-Hop card features Orchid Oasis, one of the 2022-2024 In Colors.  This sweet purply blue is gorgeous and lush.  So gorgeous that I used the Gorgeously Made stamps for this project.

      • Orchid Oasis Dark Stampin' Blend

      • Deckled Rectangle Dies, Classic Matte Dots, Blender Brush



    I die cut a stencil with Deckled Rectangle Dies.  I laid it over my white layer and added ink with the Blender Brush.  Before removing the stencil I add some subtle splatters with the Stampin' Write Marker. I colored three Classic Matte Dots with the Stampin' Blend.

    Monochrome Friday - Travelling down the Pebbled Path

    Hey Friends!  This Friday's  monochrome card features my favorite of the 2023-2025 In Colors, Pebbled Path.  I love this earthy grey-brown color, perfect for grunge cards, masculine cards, or whatever your like. The top layer is white cardstock that I stamped with the images from the Wild Ferns stamps in 5 different colors.  I darkened the white edges with Pebbled Path ink and a blender brush.

      Have you ever tried creating your won background paper?  I have always enjoyed creating my own background paper using stamps.  I think it works really well with these papers.  If you haven's tried this technique I encourage you to give it.  Just start stamping until you are happy with the finished product.

        Monochrome Friday - It's a Moody Mauve Day

        Hey Friends!  Today's monochromatic card features Moody Mauve from the 2023-2025 In Colors.  This is a quick and easy card that is just paper, ink, embellishments and glue.

          • Cheerful Daisies
        • Paper
          • Moody Mauve card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score & fold at 5 1/2"
          • Basic White accent layer - 2 7/8" x 5 1/2"
          • Basic White sentiment - 2 3/4" x 2" 
          • Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper - 2 3/4" x 5 1/2", 2 7/8" x 2"
        • Ink
          • Moody Mauve
        • Embellishments 
          • 2023-2025 In Color Dots


        The floral image are stamped in 2nd and 3rd generation and the sentiment is full strength ink.  Second generation stamping is when you stamp off once and third is when you stamp off twice.  In this case I stamped off, then stamped top left image followed by bottom right without re-inking my stamp.
