STARS Mystery Card Challenge

Hey Crafty Friends!! Once a month my fabulous upline hosts a team meeting on Zoom, part of that meeting is a Mystery Card Challenge.  Before the meeting she will give us some clues of what to bring and then during the meeting we are given more clues on how to assemble to card.  Once we are done we all share and it is amazing how our cards can be so different.  This is one of my favorite group activities.  

Here is a picture of my Mystery Card Challenge parts, please ignore the shadow, I am not the best photographer.  Haha.   I also had to bring a stamp set that included images and sentiments as well as ink.  Ready to see my card??

Introducing the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP

 Hey Crafty Friends!!  The Aug - Dec Mini Catalog went live last week.  Well, I am in love with the Gilded Autumn DSP.  It is a beautiful mix of colors with some gorgeous foil accents added. All the colors that make you long for the crisp days of autumn when the leaves are falling off the trees. Fall is my favorite time of year so this paper is perfect for me. 

Card Instructions 

1. Start with Early Espresso card base cut 5 1/4" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4".
2. Cut piece of DSP 4" x 5 1/2 and adhere to the inside of the card front using Stampin' Seal+.
3. Stamp sentiment on 3" X 2" Very Vanilla with Soft Suede ink and die cut with Tasteful Labels dies.  
4. Use same die to cut a Mint Macaron label.  Cut the label in half and glue to back of sentiment letting a bit of label show on each end.  Attach to card front with dimensionals.
5. Color 18" piece of ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon pack with Dark Mint Macaron blend.  Once dry tie tie around left side of card  front.
6. Add Gilded Gems to finish the card.  All done!!

Tip: Ribbon is placed to cover seam where DSP joins the card stock, it makes the inside look finished.  That is the backside of the DSP, so gorgeous.

August 4th - New Stampin' Up! Online Store and the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog Goes Live!!!

Hey Crafty Friends!! So much is happening this week at Stampin' Up! starting tomorrow, August 4th.   So much excitement!!!

First - The new August - December Mini Catalog (previously called Holiday Catalog) goes live 4 August.  It is packed with new and delightful seasonal products and some returning favorites from the 2019 Holiday Catalog.  You are going to love it.  

As if a new catalog wasn't enough how about this........

YES!!! The online store has been given a new look.

So What Has Changed

• Designed to work seamlessly on all devices - desktops, tablets, smart phone
• New and larger product images -- yesss!!
• Product status indicator added that shows "low inventory", "backorder" or "retiring soon" with each image.
• Coupon Codes and Host Codes have been moved under the "Checkout Box".
• Favorite items can be marked and wish lists can be created -- nice!!
• Ability to save payment information -- very handy!!

Important Notes!!

• This is a new site so you will need to log in to your account with your USERID and PASSWORD (for the first time).
• If you know your password you are good.
• If your password is bookmarked or saved in your browser, it will not auto-enter from your browser -- you will need to enter it manually.

Keep in mind this site is new for all of us and it will take some time to get used to all these new "Bells and Whistles", if you have any problems or concerns call or email me.  I am happy to help you with your order.
