#DOswts383 - Envelope Notebook/Journal Featuring Beauty of Friendship Bundle


Hey Crafty Friends!! I am hopping with the STARS today and I have a handmade journal to share featuring the gorgeous Beauty of Friendship Stamp/Die Bundle.  This bundle is currently on Sale - discounted 20% as part of the Savings Are In Bloom Sale.  Check out the SALE HERE to see what other great stamp/die bundles are on sale along with the Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  This is my second journal creation, the first using an envelope base.  Let me know what you think about it.



 


Notebook Details
  • Measurements: approximately 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" (Medium Envelope) 
  • Beauty of the Earth DSP - used to cover outside front and back, toppers for tags & journaling cards, tuck-ins & pockets.  Also used DSP for tree and grass. 
  • Double Oval punch & Misty Moonlight ink used for sentiment and attached with dimensionals. 
  • Inside is filled with Misty Moonlight Refill ink dyed 28lb printer paper.
  • The dyed pages are sewn into cover using Linen Thread. 
  • Used Tailor Made Tags to die cut tags that are double layer of DSP and dyed paper.  Tags are topped off with Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim and Linen Thread. 
  • Journaling cards are same paper layers as tags and corner punched with Detailed Trio Punch.

Beauty of Friendship Bundle - Thinking of You Card

Hey Crafty Friends!!  This week I am loving the Beauty of Friendship Bundle and Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper.  This beautiful paper is included in our DSP sale, check it out here.  



Card Instructions: 

  1.  Cut Early Espresso CS 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2" for card base.
  2.  Emboss 4" x 5 1/4" Crumb Cake CS with Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing   folder and adhere to card base.
  3.  Cut Merry Merlot CS 1 1/2" x 4"  and emboss with Brick and Mortar 3D   Embossing folder.  Gently sponge on Early Espresso and Merry Merlot ink.  
  4.  Use a sponge to dab a bit of Tombow Multipurpose glue on brick embossing,   allow to dry and add gold leafing.  Attach to card front with glue.
  5.  Use Beautiful Tree dies to cut large tree and large tree leaves from the   Beauty  of the Earth DSP.  Die cut birds from Merry Merlot CS.  Attach to   card front with glue and dimensionals as pictured.  
  6.  Stamp sentiment with Early Espresso ink, die cut and attach with dimensionals.
