Inspired by a Sketch - Freshly Made Sketches FMS 549 ..

Hey Crafty Friends!!!  Do you have enough sympathy cards?   I try to keep some on hand, because you never know when you will need one.  I like to keep them clean and simple focusing on the message.  The current Freshly Made Sketches (FMS) blog sketch #549 is the perfect inspiration for me.

    • Evening Evergreen cardstock layer - 5 1/4" x 4

My Stamps A-Z Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!!!  Today I am continuing the journey of sharing creations with some of my older stamps.  The Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments were released in January 2020 Mini Catalog.  The simplicity of the Painted Poppies stamps are timeless and I love the Peaceful Moments mixed fonts.  I deliberately kept this card simple.  It would look great in any of our colors. 

Card Details
  • Paper
    • Parakeet Party card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
    • Basic White cardstock - 5" x 3 3/4" 
  • Ink
    • Parakeet Party
    • Momento Tuxedo Black
  • Accessories/Tools
    • Clear Block "B", Multipurpose Liquid Glue, paper towel



Let Me Give You a Tip: 
  • Block needs to be clean and free of any debris (sometimes I find dried glue on my blocks).
  • To ensure you have good Ink Transfer do the following: 
    • Press blcok firmly into ink pad and make sure it is well covered with ink.
    • Place white cardstock on a stamping mat or foam mat for best transfer of ink to paper. 
  • Enjoy and try this technique with other colors and other stamps.  
  • Step it up and add some embellishments - the Matte Black Dots would be perfect for this card.

Simple Birthday with Peaceful Poppies DSP


Hey Crafty Friends!!   Today I am participating in a monthly blog hop hosted by Kylie Bertucci and as part of her worldwide Demonstrator Training Program.  Be sure to stop by all the blogs for some global inspiration.

If you have ever needed a card in a hurry, this is the one for you.  It is simple, but oh so beautiful because I used the wonderful Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper.  This paper is my all time favorite, I don't know if it can be topped.
