Simply Ornate

Hey Crafty Friends!!  Today is a quick card using the Ornate Style and Ornate Thanks stamps set with some ink, watercolor paper and a bit of water. Enjoy!!

    • Old Olive 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
    • Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", 2 x 4 for sentiment

TIP: This stamping technique is so easy and can be done with most stamps.  Apply the ink to the stamp, spritz lightly with water and stamp on watercolor paper.  The more water you apply the more the ink spreads.  One of my favorite techiniques.

Toile Tidings to You!!! #DOswts322

Hi Crafty Friends!!  Welcome to the DOswts#322 Sketch Inspiration Hop. I love following a card sketch, it make things so much easier, especially if the measurements are given.  I did change my card orientation to portrait, but no worries -- measurements provided.

Real Red layer 4 1/4 x 3, scrap for sentiment
Toile Tidings DSP 2 3/4 x 2 3/4, 1 1/4 x 2 3/4

Simple Sunday Card - Magnolia Lane DSP

Hi Crafty Friends!!  Welcome to Simple Sunday featuring Magnolia Lane DSP.  This is a quick and easy card to make, so easy that you could quickly make six cards from on sheet of DSP.
Card Measurements:
Mossy Meadow base 4 1/4 x 11, score and fold at 5 1/2
Basic Black layer 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
Magnolia Lane DSP 4 x 5 1/4
Ink:
Mossy Meadow
TIP: This type of card is very easy to build in batches.  I made 24 of this card following these steps in about 3 hours.  Doing each step 24 times before moving on to the next: 
 (1) cut DSP, any layers and card liner 
 (2) cut, score and fold base, add liner inside card 
 (3) glue DSP to card stock layer together
 (4) stamp and die cut sentiment 
 (5) punch label and attach sentiment 
 (6) adhere ribbon to card base and attach label 
 (7) adhere DSP layer to card base 
 (8) add embellishments
