Hey Crafty Friends! This week on my blog I am focusing on "card swaps". I participate in several swap groups and I love swapping because I gain lots of inspiration and I also get samples to share with all of you. Today I CaSEd a card I received in a Stampin' Connection swap hosted by Jini Merck. This card is from Sandy Hughes, I was really attracted to the layout of this card and knew I was going to CaSE it for sure.
Card Details
- Paper
- Mint Macaron card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4", 3" x 4"
- Early Espresso layer 5 1/4" x 4
- Very Vanilla layer 5" x 3 3/4", 3" x 3"
- Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP 2 3/4" x 1 1/2" ( x2), 2" x 2" (x2)
- Stamps
- Beautiful Autumn
- Ink
- Early Espresso
- Tools/Embellishments
- Stitched So Sweetly Dies
- Gilded Gems
- Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack
Tip: If you are going to use both sides of DSP like I did for this card, I recommend cutting DSP to 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". On the short side cut 1 1/2". That will give you two strips 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" and 2" x 5 1/2". Cut the 1 1/2" strip at 2 3/4" and the 2" strip at 2" twice. See graphic below.
