#DOswts348 - Designer Series Paper Inspiration Hop

Hey Crafty Friends!!! I am hopping with the STARS today and our theme is Designer Series Paper, focusing in the papers that are on sale.  I chose the Peony Garden DSP.  I selected this paper because I have yet to make a card with it, so this is the perfect time.  I paired it with a sentiment from the Peaceful Poppies and Tasteful Labels die. Also, this DSP and several others are discounted 15% this month, you can get this pack for $9.78 before tax and shipping. 

Card Measurements

• Petal Pink card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"  
• Gray Granite layer - 3 1/2" x 4" 
• Whisper White scrap for sentiment
• Peony Garden DSP - 1 1/2" x  5 1/2", cut 5 each at  3/4" x 6" and 5 each at 1/4" x 6"

Card Instructions

1. Use glue to attach 1 1/2" x 5 1/2" DSP to card front. 
2. Glue the DSP strips onto the Gray Granite 31/2" x 4" layer at an angle, be sure to cover all the card stock.  Trim off excess DSP.
3. Color about 18" of Crinkled Whisper White ribbon with Dark Gray Granite Stampin' Blend, tie ribbon around DSP layer and attach to card base with dimensionals.  
4. Use Gray Granite ink to stamp sentiment onto Whisper White CS and die with Tasteful Labels die.  Attach to card front with dimensionals. 
5. Color desired number of Basic Rhinestone Jewels with Dark Gray Granite Stampin' Blend and add them to card for a finishing touch.
