Fun with Parts and Pieces - Snowflakes Wishes Stamps and Snowflake Splendor DSP

Hey Crafty Friends!!!  In this week's Stampin' Up! demonstrator news they had an article called "Fun with Parts and Pieces" that caught my interest immediately.  The article showed three cards made with same materials and gave measurements.  Feeling very inspired I used this format for my Wednesday Coffee and Cards. 

The challenge is to make three cards using the following supplies:

  • Card Base
  • 3 3/4" x 5" white cardstock
  • 4" x 3/4" coordinating cardstock
  • 5 1/2" x 2" DSP 
  • Stamp set



Triple Panel Card Details

  • Paper
    • Highland Heather card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
    • Balmy Blue CS sentiment strip 3/4" x 4"
    • Snowflake Splendor DSP 3 3/4" x 5" (cut into 3 1 5/8" panels), plus 3/4" x 4" (Tip: center panel popped up with dimensionals)
  • Stamps 
    • Life is Beautiful
  • Ink
    • Balmy Blue
  • Tools/Embellishments   
    • Blue Adhesive Backed Gems 



Snowflake Wishes Card Details
  • Paper
    • Highland Heather card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
    • Balmy Blue CS accent layer 3/4" x 4"
    • Whisper White CS sentiment strip 1 1/4" x 3 3/4"
    • Snowflake Splendor DSP 3 3/4" x 3 3/4", 1/1/2" x 5 1/2"
  • Stamps
    • Snowflake Wishes
  • Ink 
    • Balmy Blue
  • Tools/Embellishments
    • Blue Adhesive Backed Gems


Stamped Snowflakes Card Details
  • Paper
    • Highland Heather card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
    • Balmy Blue CS accent trim 1/2" x 5 1/2"
    • Whisper White CS stamped layer 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
    • Snowflake Splendor DSP  1/1/4" x 5 1/2"
