Christmas Countdown #6 - Pine Tree Punch Card

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Wow, I have been so busy lately, last weekend I attended the Stampin' Up! convention On-Stage@Home.  It was so fun to see some of the new products that will be coming in January and to get inspired and reinvigorated about stamping and creating.  But first we have to enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas, so how about an easy Christmas card that shows off DSP??  I love making cards with minimal stamping.





Card Instructions: 

  1. Start with Soft Succulent CS card base cut 81/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4".
  2. Card Front:
    1. Cut Basic White CS 5 1/4" x 4" (cut 2) and cut DSP to 2" x  5 1/4"  and 1 1/2" x 4".  
    2. Adhere both pieces to Basic White layer as pictured, then adhere to card base
  3. Die cut Real Red CS with 2nd largest Layering Circle die and Basic White CS with 3rd largest circle die.  Glue circles together and attach to card front with dimensionals. 
  4. Punch two trees from Soft Suede CS and two from DSP.  Trim off DSP tree trunks and adhere to Soft Suede CS tree.  
  5. Attach trees to card front as pictured and add desired amount of Wonderful Gems.
Note: Running the top layer through an embossing folder such as Bark, Timber or Evergreen Forest 3d Folder would add a nice touch of texture.  Attach DSP layers then run through folder and attach to card base.
