Brick and Mortar Christmas - Brick Wall TIEF

Hello stamping friends.  My family and I are sending many prayers out to all that are recovering from hurricane Harvey and many more prayers for folks that have been or will be touched by super storm Irma.  I am at a loss for words with all the devastation going on lately.  Hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes it is all overwhelming.

With all the devastation it is difficult to think about Christmas, but just like the changing seasons it will come and you need to be ready.  Every Friday from now till Christmas I will share a holiday card or project to inspire you to create something special for the ones you love.  Today I am featuring the Brick Wall  Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Swirly Scribbles Thinlets Dies and Holly Berry Happiness Stamps.

Card Measurements:
Crumb Cake Card Base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Early Espresso Layer 5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Cherry Cobble Embossed Layer 5 1/4 x 4
Sentiment Crumb Cake  3/4 x 4  & Early Espresso 1 x 4
Wreath Early Espresso & Crumb Cake 3 x 3
Garden Green & Cheery Cobbler scraps for holly

TIP: To get a real brick and mortar effect I applied the new Embossing Paste directly to the embossed Cherry Cobbler cardstock on the de-bossed side of the paper. I think it really looks like a brick wall with grout line.  It dried in about 15 minutes leaving a nice texture and finish on the card stock.  I made 12 of these cards for a swap.  I think the swappers will like it.
