#DOSwts352 Stamping with the STARs - Heartwarming Hugs Gnome

 


Hey Crafty Friends!!! It is time for another Stamping with the STARs  Inspiration Hop #DOswts352.  Today I decided to make a punch art gnome. This is my first time making a little gnome and I was surprised at how easy it was to put together. 






Card Details
  • Paper
    • Pear Pizzazz CS card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4"
    • Whisper White CS layer 4" x 5 1/4" (2 each)
    • Heartwarming Hugs DSP 4" x 5 1/4", cut at 1 1/2"
  • Stamps
    • Itty Bitty Christmas
  • Ink
    • Mossy Meadow
    • Gray Granite
  • Embellishments/Tools
    • Snowflake Splendor Ribbon
    • Stampin' Sponge
    • Stitched Shapes Dies


Tip: Cut the DSP on the short-side at 1 1/2" and glue the DSP to the Whisper WCS layer, covering it with the DSP. The other Whisper White CS layer goes inside card as a liner.

Most Wonderful Time Christmas Card -- Product Medley Retiring Soon!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!! Today I am sharing a quick card from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley.  This is the only medley in the Aug - Dec Mini Catalog.  Also, it is retiring on 4 January 2021, so right now you can buy this medley at a 20% discount ($56.00 vice original price of $70.00).  That is a steal.  So what is in a Product Medley-- everything you need to create wonderful cards, scrapbooking pages or 3-d projects, except ink, cardstock and envelopes.

Card Instructions    

  • Paper Measurements
    • Old Olive card base 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", score and fold at 4 1/4", plus scrap
    • Old Olive layer 5 1/4" x 4"
    • Most Wonderful Time DSP layer 2" x 5 1/4"
    • Whisper White 3" x 3"
  • Assembly
    • Use glue to attach DSP to Old Olive 5 1/4" x 4" layer.  
    • Apply very thin layer of glue where the DSP and CS meet and then attach Gold/White Tinsel Trim. Then fold trim ends behind layer and secure with Stampin' Seal.  
    • Stamp sentiment with Mossy Meadow ink and attach Old Olive layer to card base with dimensionals.  
    • Stamp one tree in center of 3" x 3" Whisper White CS, and stamp a tree on each side of first tree, be sure to stamp off.  
    • Die cut Whisper White CS with Stitched Dies circle and attached to card front with dimensionals.  
    • Stamp small tree in Old Olive ink onto Old Olive CS scrap and die cut, then attach with dimensionals to stamped trees covering center tree. 
    • Add desired number of Elegant Faceted Gems. 
    • All Done!


Tip: Because of the twisted nature of the Gold/White Tinsel trim, I chose to secure it to the card front with a very thin strip of glue.  I laid the glue down at the top of the DSP where it transitions to CS.  The Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue is perfect for this job.  It is my favorite adhesive.
