Crafty Challenge Blog Hop - Featuring Eden's Garden


Hey Crafty Friends!!  Today I am participating in a blog hop hosted by The Crafty Medic.  I am using the Eden's Garden Collection DSP and the Poinsettia Dies with the Snowy White Velvet sheet, plus a little gold embossing.   This month's challenge was a sketch, here is my version of the challenge.  Enjoy!!

Decorative Mask Background

Hey Crafty Friends!!  Happy Tuesday, I have been playing with our decorative masks and a bit of masking as well.  I love our decorative mask and I need to use them more often.  They are a great tool for creating a background instead of using DSP or stamps.

DOswts373 - Retiform Technique Inspiration Hop featuring Eden's Garden



Hey Crafty Friends!!! Time for another Stamping with the Stars Inspiration Hop.  Today's techniques was a real challenge for me, I have never made a card or anything else using the retiform technique.  I knew I wanted to use Petal Pink and Smoky Slate -- I just needed to figure out my layout and find the right stamp set.  The new Eden's Garden stamps was perfect for this technique. There are tons of great samples are all over Pinterest and You Tube for the retiform style of stamping.

3D Thursday - Happy Halloween Tag Topper Treat

Hey Crafty Friends!!!  Wow, Halloween is next week and I still have tons to do to get ready for all those trick or treaters.   Today I am sharing a simple and easy to put together treat package.  Be sure to watch the video, I give tips on what to do if you don't have a tag topper punch. 



Treat Bag Details:
  • Pumpkin Pie CS - 2" x 8 1/2", score at 3 7/8" and 4 5/8"
  • Cajun Craze CS - 1" x 6 1/4", score at 3/4", 2 3/4", 3 1/2" and 5 3/4", plus scraps
  • Crumb Cake CS - 3/8" x 4" for sentiment, plus scraps 
  • Soft Suede CS - 1/8" x 6" for curls
  • Mossy Meadow CS - scraps for die cut leaves 



Tip:  To create the pumpkin die cut Detailed Pumpkin using Cajun Craze CS, cover with Wink of Stella,  glue to Crumb Cake CS scrap and then trim out.
