Happy New Year 2022!! Stampin' Up! News - New Jan-Jun Mini Catalog and Sale-a-Bration launching soon!!

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Well in north Texas we are ringing in new year with a cold spell.  New Year's eve we had temps in the 70's and today our bird bath is frozen. Looks like we are going to be cold for at least the first week of January.  You never know what the weather is going to bring around here. 


I am doing something totally new for me this year - a month long catalog launch starting 4 January 2022.  I will be going live on Facebook at 6am (CT), if that is too early for you, I will be uploading videos to my YouTube Channel and my blog.  Check back tomorrow for more info on my January-June 2022 Mini Catalog launch.  Hope you will join me.

Crafty Challenge Blog Hop - Featuring Hello Beautiful Bundle

 


Hey Crafty Friends!! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  I took the week off to enjoy time with my daughter and the rest of my family.  Now it is time to get back to blogging.

Share It Sunday - Nature's Harvest Bundle


 

Hey Crafty Friends!! Time for the monthly Share It Sunday Bloghop. The last one for 2021, hoping along with my international crafty friends. DOswts377 - Monochromatic Inspiration Hop - Misty Moonlight (it had to be blue!!)

Hey Crafty Friends!!! Today it is a Monochromatic Inspiration Hop with the DOStamperStars. I do love blue so my card had to be blue and I wanted to feature a product from the "soon to be retiring" July-December 2021 Mini Catalog - Nature's Harvest Bundle. I love this bundle of nature and I am so happy that is will carry over into next year. You really need this set in your creative arsenal.

 
Card Instructions:
  1. Start with 11" x 4 1/4" card base, scored and folded at 5 1/2".
  2. Cut CS layer 5 1/8" x 3 7/8", cut DSP 5" x 3 3/4". Glue two layers together and glue to card base. 
  3. Cut one each CS, DSP, Vellum 2 1/4" x 3 3/4".  Glue layers together picture and attach to card front with dimensionals. (Tip: Just apply glue to center of layers, edges should appear as if they are floating)
  4. Stamp large flower image onto CS with same color ink and die cut.  Attach to card front with mini dimensionals.
  5. Add white CS layer 5 1/4" x 4" to inside, attach 1/2" x 4" DSP strip and stamp sentiment inside card.  
  6. Embellish if desired. I added a bit of Wink of Stella to flower centers in honor of my friend PW.
