Valentine Treat or Gift Bag

Hello Crafty Friends!! Today's project is quick and easy gift bag.  Really the bas is easy-peasy, the only difficult part about this bag is deciding how to decorate it. Today it is all about VALENTINES!!!

Bag Instructions:

• Cut DSP 10 x 12, paying attention to at pattern orientation
• Score at 1/2 inch, 2 1/2 inches, 6 1/4 inches, and  8 1/4 inches on long side
• Score at 2 inches on short side
• Fold score lines, cut according to diagram, assemble with favorite glue

Bag Decoration:

• Die cut one Crumb Cake heart and one Melon Mambo heart using  Be Mine Stitched Framelits 
• Add sentiment from Meant to Be stamp set to solid heart with favorite black ink
• Use Layering Circles Framelits to cut DSP to place behind Pearlized Doily  adhering with Multipurpose Glue
• Attach Rose Metallic Thread to solid heart using Tear and Tape
• Cut piece of Lovely Lipstick 2 x 8 1/2, score at 3 and cut longer side with the Banner Triple Punch
• Assemble layers as pictured using dimensionals and glue
• Attach to bag using snail, but not until you have placed the gift/treats inside

Meant to Be Note Card #simplestamping

Hello crafty friends!!  Here is a note card that is very simple to make using two  ink pads, one punch and one stamp set.  Note cards are great size for giving with gifts.  This one will go with a box of chocolates to my sweetie!!

   Measurements:

Whisper White Thick base  3 1/2 x 10, folded to 3 1/2 x 5

It's Your Day!! - Beautiful Butterfly Gala DSP

 Hey Crafty Friends!!  I am at the Texas Basket Weaving Convention today weaving away. Before I get my day started weaving I want to share this little gem with you.  I made it using Kylie Bertucci's love it chop method.  Her philosophy is if you love chop it up, make a card and share it.  How many of us have like a DSP so much that we are reluctant to cut it up and then we end up with a collection of retired paper.  

  Measurements:

Lemon Lime Twist base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 

Basic Black 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 DSP 

Botanical Butterfly DSP 3 x 4

Whisper White liner 5 1/2 x 4 

Ink:

Momento Black

TIP:  Cut a 12 x 12 sheet of DSP into 3 x 4 pieces, this gives you 12 card fronts.  That is 12 cards!!! Love it and chop it up, don't be a paper hoarder like me.

Gift Card Holder from Barbara Harmon

Score top layer of card at 1 1/4 then fold to the inside to create flap that holds gift card.  Very clever way to secure gift  card and show of more of the lovely All My Love DSP. 

Valentine card from Mary Blocher

Use Stampin Blends to color Epoxy Heart Droplets to make them pop on a card or project.
